Our Journey
1969 – Founded in March at 114 Jutland Road, Etobicoke, ON.
June 1969 – Opened first branch in Burnaby, BC, beginning our coast-to-coast Canadian presence.
1980s–1990s – Grew across Canada, establishing locations from east to west coast, inlcuding Moncton, Montreal, Mississauga, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Edmonton.
Expansion into the USA
1980 – Entered the U.S. market with a branch in Massachusetts.
1981 – Expanded U.S. operations with a Buffalo, NY branch.
1992 - The Elkhart, Indiana branch established.

The First Branch Stock Order
June 27, 1969 Fairview Etobicoke sent Fairview Vancouver their first stock order. The shipment contained 29 cartons and weighed 1,500 lbs.

For more than 57 years, Fairview has been delivering quality products, trusted expertise, and exceptional service to customers across North America. Founded by C.K. Woodward in 1969 and still family-owned today, Fairview has grown from a single location in Etobicoke, Ontario, into one of North America's leading suppliers and manufacturers of industrial fittings, hose, propane, and fluid handling products.
Now led by the second and third generations of the Woodward family, our commitment remains the same: building lasting relationships through reliable products, responsive service, and industry-leading expertise.
Our Journey
1969 | The Beginning
Fairview was founded in March 1969 at 114 Jutland Road in Etobicoke, Ontario.
June 1969 | Coast-to-Coast Expansion Begins
Just months after opening, Fairview launched its first branch in Burnaby, British Columbia, marking the start of our national presence.
1980s–1990s | Growth Across Canada
As demand grew, so did Fairview. New branches were established across the country, including Moncton, Montreal, Mississauga, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and Edmonton, creating a truly coast-to-coast distribution network.
Expanding Into the United Sates
1980
Opened our first U.S. branch in Massachusetts.
1981
Expanded further with the opening of our Buffalo, New York location.
1992
Established our Elkhart, Indiana branch, strengthening our support for customers throughout the Midwest.
Today, Fairview proudly serves customers throughout Canada and the United States through a network of nine branch locations and manufacturing facilities in Oakville, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York.

A History of Growth

Fairview's Oakville headquarters has grown alongside the company. What began as a single building in 1992 expanded over the years as neighboring units were incorporated to support our continued growth.
Our First Branch Stock Order
On June 27, 1969, Fairview Etobicoke shipped its first stock order to Fairview Vancouver. The shipment included 29 cartons weighing approximately 1,500 lbs.—the beginning of a distribution network that now serves customers across North America.
